During this workshop with ceramicist Sa Wood, you will hand sculpt your bird using white earthernware clay and the ancient technique of pinch pottery. The wings will then be textured using a variety of vintage fabrics to give it a decorative feel. You will then glaze your bird using a colour of your choice.
The finished pieces will be taken away, dried, then fired and returned to the gallery a few weeks later for you to collect. For an addtional £5 your ceramic bird can be mounted on wood which can be added on the day of the workshop.
